Employee injured in fall from tank truck ladder

Employee #1, a tank truck driver, was assigned to pick up beef fat at a customer's facility. He pulled into the loading area and climbed the ladder on the side of the tank trailer to open the hatch. When he pulled down the loading spout he found it did not line up, so one of the customer's workers jumped in the truck and moved it, but in the wrong direction. Employee #1 lost his balance and fell approximately 8 ft 8 in. to the ground. He fractured his right hip and injured his lower back.
