Employee's leg crushed between pickup truck and spraying rig

Employee #1 was using a pickup truck to move a spraying rig. He was lifting the tow bar off the ground to hook it to the truck when the bar fell back to the ground. As he moved to pick it up again, his arm or elbow struck the parking brake pedal and released the brake. The spraying rig rolled forward, crushing Employee #1's left leg against the bumper of the pickup truck. He sustained serious leg injuries, for which he was hospitalized.
