Foreman testing voltage is burned in arc flash

At 11:45 a.m. on August 15, 2017, Employee #1, a general foreman employed by an electrical services company, was working at a manufacturing plant. He was using a volt meter to test the voltage at an electrical transformer. The volt meter lacked sufficient capacity to test the voltage, and this led to an arc flash. Employee #1 was burned in the flash. Emergency services were called, and Employee #1 was transported to the hospital. He was admitted and treated for second degree burns to his arms and neck.
