Employee's head and face injured in fall from trailer

On February 1, 2000, Employee #1, a landscape maintenance technician for Len Vahey Landscaping, Inc., was on a trailer being pulled by a pickup truck on Alvarado Street in San Leandro, CA, when he fell off and sustained serious injuries to his face and head. He was removed by ambulance to the Eden Medical Center on Lake Chabot Road in Castro Valley, where he was admitted and hospitalized for 5 days.
