Employee injured in forklift accident

At approximately 9:30 a.m. on April 19, 2000, Employee #1, a van driver with four months experience, mounted a vertical forklift to move it. While dismounting, his left leg was caught between the guardrail in Zone 8 and the body of the vertical fork-lift. Employee #1's leg was crushed and he was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment. He was not hospitalized.
