Investigation Summary
At approximately 8:30 a.m. on August 11, 2017, an employee was operating a table saw in the process of cutting plastic when the guard over the blade on the saw broke. This caused the employees fingertip to become pinched between the plastic and the side of the guide used on the table saw. The employees fingertip was amputated but the employee was not hospitalized.
