Employee's Fingertip Amputated by Trellis Wire

Employee #1 was stringing grape trellis wire from a spool on the back of a tractor. He was guiding the wire when the spliced end caught his finger, amputating the tip. The wire was spliced from the factory and the spliced ends were not tucked in tightly.
