Employee's fingertips amputated in table saw

Employee #1, a summer school teacher, was adjusting a dado blade on a table saw for a class he was teaching. A student inadvertently switched on the saw while his fingers were in the point of operation. The tips of the first and second fingers of Employee #1's left hand were amputated.
