Tractor Runs Over Employee's Foot Causing A Fracture

On August 8, 2003, Employee #1 was injured while walking along side a back hoe. The foreman used a back hoe with chains to lift the 2,000-pound metal box. Employee #1's responsibilities were to walk along side of the metal box and back hoe to keep the box from swinging. The metal box had to be carried only a small distance to the grave site on a paved roadway. As the back hoe and Employee #1 tried to maneuver around a parked car the front tire of the back hoe ran over Employee #1's foot. Employee#1's right foot was broken and he was hospitalized.
