Employee amputated thumb with skilsaw

On October 21, 2002, Employee #1 was cutting a small piece of wood with a skilsaw, Model Number HD-985740, 120 Volts, 60 HZ, 13 Amps, with a guard pinned back. The saw jumped back and amputated Employee #1's left thumb. Employee #1 was hospitalized at the Valley Medical Center.
