Employee fractures vertebra when struck tractor tire

On November 10, 2003, Employee #1 was removing a tractor tire. He removed the lug nuts and turned to set them aside. The tire started to fall from the hub, and Employee #1 could not control it. Employee #1 was pushed to the ground with the tire across his lap. He fractured his vertebra and was hospitalized.
