Employee falls off of a truck and fractures his hip

At approximately 3:00 p.m. Employee #1 was restacking and rearranging large plastic bags of leaf and branch debris that had been piled on top of one another within the bed of a truck. He was standing on top of one or more bags near the edge of the truck when he lost his balance. He fell approximately 3 to 4 ft onto the hard asphalt and was hospitalized with a fractured hip.
