Employee Fractured Leg in Fall from Work Platform

At 11:45 a.m. on January 7, 2009, Employee #1 was assisting in the remodeling of a private residence. As he stood on a wood platform, measuring 24-inches wide and approximately 3.17 feet from ground, to install some wood soffits, he lost his balance and fell. Employee #1 was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was hospitalized and treated for a fractured left tibia.
