Investigation Summary
At approximately 5:30 p.m. on August 3, 2005, Employee #1 and a coworker were loading a rack loaded with about 60 cases of half-gallon ice cream, 10 pounds per case, onto a bobtail refrigerated truck. The rack tipped over backwards and hit Employee #1's left knee, causing a 4-in. displacement of the patella and pulled muscles and ligaments. He was hospitalized.
