Employee's finger tips amputated in meat machine

Employee #1 and a coworker were working in the meat department. Employee #1 stopped what he was doing and went over to help the operator of the film wrapping machine which had become jammed. Employee #1 told the operator not to start the machine since he was reaching into the machine to feed the film. The operator apparently thought the he was told to start the machine. Employee #1's left middle and ring finger tips were amputated by the film cutter in the machine when it was started.
