Investigation Summary
At about 3:15 p.m. on May 22, 1998, Employee #1 was walking through the kitchen area of the employer's restaurant when another employee, who was cutting meat with a very sharp knife, suddenly turned to reach for another piece of meat. The other employee inadvertently struck Employee #1 with the knife and cut his hand. Employee #1 was hospitalized and treated for his injury.
