Investigation Summary
At 11:15 a.m. on August 15, 2017, Employee #1, employed by an electrical services company, was working at a two-story commercial building. He was wiring a light fixture in the ceiling when he made contact with 277 volts of electricity. Employee #1 fell through the ceiling, a fall height of approximately 17 feet. Emergency services were called, and Employee #1 was transported to the hospital. He was admitted and treated for electrical burns to both thumbs and index fingers and a chest wound caused by the electric shock.
