Employee #1, employed by this employer for 10 months, was using a Crescent 12 in. table jointer on oak staves. The flesh on the distal end of the first finger of his right hand was amputated. The causal factor is undetermined, but apparently Employee #1 did not use a push stick. The general nature of his work area was tidy.
