Employee injured in fall through skylight

At approximately 7:45 a.m. on October 9, 1997, Employee #1, a laborer for Trinity Properties, was working on a building in San Francisco that reportedly had water leaks. After a rain, a group of employees went to the flat rooftop to inspect it and to locate the leak. Upon completion, they were heading toward the fire escape when Employee #1 tripped and fell through a skylight onto a concrete floor. He sustained head injuries and was taken to San Francisco General Hospital.
