Employee's hand caught by potato grater blade

At approximately 5:10 p.m. on August 5, 1994, Employee #1 was feeding potatoes through an electric grater. As he finished filling one tray with grated potatoes, he reached inside the chute to remove pieces of potatoes that had not gone through the blade. The blade caught his right middle finger, pulling his hand into the chute. He extracted his hand, called for help, and was transported to the hospital.
