Employee amputates middle finger when glove is caught in mov

At approximately 6:45 a.m. on June 27, 2017, an employee was cleaning ink off of steel tubing that was being cut on a horizontal band saw at the time. The employee was using a rag with cleaner on it to remove ink labeling from steel tubing. The employee got his right hand glove caught in the moving band saw blade. He had the tip of the middle finger amputated on the right hand but was not hospitalized.
