Employee injured in fall when truck strikes boom lift

Employee #1 and coworkers were using an articulating boom lift that was extended over a road to install frames for the fascia of a new parking garage located on the other side of the road. Employee #1 was in the lift when a delivery truck struck the boom. He was ejected and fell approximately 14 ft to the ground. Employee #1 was hospitalized with severe head injuries.
