Employee injured in fall from roof

Employee #1 was returning to work from his break and forgot to attach his harness to the anchorage point on the roof. He lost his footing and slid down the wet tar paper, tearing out a cleat along the roofline. Employee #1 hung at the roof edge before dropping 13 ft into a flower bed. He sustained only bruises and was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was treated and released.
