Employee hits rotating auger with finger and amputates it

At 9:15 a.m. on July 6, 2017, an employee was cleaning the cyclone on the AZO auger on paint line Number 2 when the employee's finger came in contact with a rotating auger. The employee amputated his right middle finger. The employee was not hospitalized.
