Investigation Summary
Employee #1 was asked by a member of a bricklaying crew to get a #7 rebar to reinforce the wall's corner turn. The employee got the rebar, which was bent at a 90 degree angle and measured 42 by 42, and began to climb the rungs of a scaffold. When he reached the 18 ft level, his hand slipped and he fell to the ground, landing on his feet, then falling onto his back. Employee #1 suffered a fractured leg.
