Employee suffers partial amputation of finger while cutting

At 1:52 p.m. on July 5, 2017, an employee was cutting corner notches in a piece of steel. As the employee was cutting one notch, the other end of the steel piece lifted and caught the employee's ring finger against the frame of the machine. The employee suffered a partial amputation of his right ring finger. The employee was not hospitalized.
