Investigation Summary
At 3:00 p.m. on July 7, 2017, an employee was delivering and picking up packages at different locations. The employee felt a pain in his stomach and fingers, which caused him to think he was having a heart attack. The employee notified his supervisor he was not feeling well. The employer offered to pick the employee up, but the employee stated he was at his last stop and that he would meet him at the warehouse. Once the employee was at the warehouse, he couldn't retain liquids and was taken by his supervisor to a clinic. The employee ended up being hospitalized and received treatment for heat related illness.
