Investigation Summary
On December 18, 1995, Employee #1, of Mason Iron and Metal, Detroit, MI, was riding on a railcar that was being moved in a scrap yard. Apparently unaware of how close the car would come to a nearby concrete wall, he maintained his position as the railcar passed by the wall. Employee #1 was crushed and killed between the wall and railcar.
