Employee falls from tree and bruises torso

At 8:32 a.m. on May 9, 2017, an employee climbed the tree using tree climbing spurs preparing to make a cut with a chainsaw. The employee climbed the tree and before he could make a cut the tree began to crack from the bottom, and uprooted from the ground. The employee fell with the tree and sustained bruises to his chest and abdominal area. The employee was hospitalized and treated for his injuries.
