Employee steps off from telephone pole and fractures ankle

At 2:30 p.m. on June 15, 2017, an employee was descending a telephone pole after completing repairs. With approximately two feet remaining before reaching the bottom of the telephone pole, the employee stepped down onto a 4-inch post or rock that was located between the pole and a small tree trunk and fractured his ankle. The employee was hospitalized and received treatment for his injury.
