Employee is struck by falling stone slab and sustains a head

At 10:00 a.m. on June 13, 2017, an employee was helping the plant manager unload stone slabs that had been cut the night before by the Eagle Saw. The employee was on the ground using a crow bar to tip slabs towards the forks of the lift truck which was operated by the plant manager. The employee was bent over picking up scraps of stone from ground. The employee's back faced the slab which fell over and struck the employee's head and leg. The employee sustained a head laceration and a fractured right femur.
