Event: 01/24/1994
ELECTRIC SHOCK - CONTACT WITH OVERHEAD LINE THRU LOAD LINE

A crane operator was using a crane to move equipment off of a flatbed truck and swing it around for two employees to unhook. As the second load was being set, the crane's load line contacted a 7600-volt (phase to ground) overhead power line. One of the two employees handling the load received an electric shock and was knocked to the ground. (He was not listed on an injury line on the original form. His injury was added during the review process.) The second employee was electrocuted. (He also fell between the first and second loads.)
