Employee Is Injured When Forklift Rolls Over

At about 11:30 p.m. on December 16, 2004, Employee #1, with Harris-Woolf Almonds, was lowering two full bins of almonds with a forklift. Apparently the load exceeded the lifting capacity, causing the forklift to tip forward. Employee #1 then struck the mast. He was hospitalized at U.M.C. Fresno for a serious head injury.
