Employee is drawn into auger and partially amputates leg

At 1:48 p.m. on June 1, 2017, an employee was cutting an opening in a wall of Bin #3 while he sat on the auger housing. The employee's right boot heel was caught by the auger when its housing was removed and the auger was exposed. The employee's right leg was pulled by the auger and amputated his right leg below the knee. The employee was hospitalized from a partial right leg amputation.
