Employee falls through roof skylight and is hospitalized

At approximately 4:00 p.m. on August 13, 1993, employees were preparing a roof surface that had several skylight openings. As they progressed with their work, Employee #1 was doing some clean-up work. While picking up debris, Employee #1 stumbled, lost his balance, and fell onto a skylight opening cover, which was a 4 foot by 8 foot piece of plywood. The cover became dislodged and Employee #1 went through the opening. He fell approximately 27 feet to the next lower level.
