Investigation Summary
A work crew had just finished pouring concrete for a deck on the second floor of a building. As the crew was cleaning up, one of the employees brought the boom of the concrete pump truck into contact with an overhead power line. The employee, who was operating the boom with a cable-connected remote control unit, was electrocuted.
