Employee killed when struck by falling tree

On August 14, 1996, Employee #1, a self-employed logger, was leaving a job site after finishing the day's work. He walked by an area where a tree was being cut, and was struck and crushed by the falling tree. At approximately 6:10 p.m., he was pronounced dead at the scene by the Montgomery County Coroner's Office.
