Investigation Summary
At 9:30 a.m. on May 9, 2017, an employee was using an automatic planting machine to plant tomato seedlings. After inserting the seeds into the machine, the employee inadvertently drove over a bump. As a result, the employee was ejected from the seat of the planting machine and struck her face and shoulder. Emergency services were contacted and the employee was transported to a nearby medical facility. She was hospitalized and received treatment for her injuries.
