Employee is in head struck by shredder and is killed
At 5:30 p.m. on May 13, 2017, an employee was taking the gear box of an shredder to replace its bearings. As the shredder was raised approximately 3 feet above the ground by a jack and blocks, a malfunction occurred. The shredder fell and struck the employee in the head, killing him.
