Employee is pulled into a boring machine and suffers multipl

At 4:15 p.m. on May 11, 2017, an employee was using a boring machine to drill holes in a wooden reel flange. The employee pushed the drilled reel flange further into the equipment before the drill bits stopped moving. The employee's jacket sleeve was caught in a rotating drill bit and his hand and arm were pulled into the equipment. The employee sustained a serious laceration injury to the left thumb/palm and possible broken bones in the left arm.
