Investigation Summary
At 3:30 p.m. on April 21, 2017, an employee sustained a broken left leg while rehabbing sewer pipe mains of the Los Angeles County Sanitation District. As the employee was helping to put an odor control platform over an insertion pit excavation, he fell through the platform into a excavation below and was injured.
