At approximately 9:30 a.m. on April 15, 2017, an employee walked down a marked pedestrian foot path before entering the Tyson Foods lot. The employee entered through the gate, turned, and was struck by a semi-truck fender. The employee was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
