Investigation Summary
At 3:00 p.m. on March 31, 2017, an employee was assisting the crane operator moving a load onto the bed of a semi-truck. The employee placed hand inside the kicker's dog ears. The metal being transported buckled creating a pinch point on the kicker where the employee's fingers were, amputating his finger.
