Employee falls from ladder and fractures elbows

At 11:00 a.m. on March 31, 2017, an employee climbed a Werner 24 foot extension ladder with a pry bar while attempting to dislodge the wash bay garage door, the garage door had become lodged on a broken bracket located on the wall above the garage door. In the process of ascending the ladder, it slid out from under him causing the employee to ride the ladder down from a height of approximately 8 feet to the concrete floor. He impacted the concrete floor with both elbows, fracturing them.
