Investigation Summary
On April 5, 2017, Employee #1 was involved in a tree trimming activity. He walked to the side box of a bucket truck to get a drink as the bucket truck operator was moving the bucket. The bucket and the boom contacted energized power lines. Employee #1 was touching the truck, when he received an electric shock and fell to the ground with burns on his arm, hands and feet. Employee #1 was transported to a medical center, where he received treatment and was then hospitalized.
