Employee dies months after being struck by shredded metal

On June 29, 1994, Employee #1 was operating a backhoe/crane 100 yards from an automobile shredder. He was sitting in the backhoe/crane cab and wearing a hard hat. A piece of an automobile that was being shredded flew out of the shredder and struck Employee #1 in the left side of the head. He died on December 25, 1995.
