Investigation Summary
Two employees were moving a 12.2-meter (40-foot) aluminum ladder they had been using on the north side of a residence. The ladder contacted a 7200-volt overhead power line. One employee received an electric shock and was knocked clear of the ladder. (His injury was not included on an injury line in the original form.) The other employee, who was in contact with the ladder for 4 or 5 seconds, was electrocuted.
