Employee killed when struck by falling roof material

On August 10, 1998, Employee #1, a laborer, was on the ground at a work site as a coworker was pushing a wheelbarrow up a ramp on the roof of the building. A piece of roofing material fell 30 ft from the wheelbarrow, striking Employee #1. He suffered a fractured neck and was killed.
