Investigation Summary
At approximately 2:30 p.m. on March 6, 2017, workers were drilling a hole for cathode protection for corrosion control on an underground gas supply-line. The job was to replace an existing anode with a new one. An employee was struck in the abdomen by the drilling rig, and was knocked to the ground. The employee suffered from an abdominal injury for which he was hospitalized.
