Investigation Summary
At 11:00 a.m. on February 15, 2017, an employee was making a cut on a side railing on a table saw that was set up with dado blades. The employee placed his left hand above the railing and began to push it through the dado blades. The employee partially amputated one of his fingers from his left hand and lacerated the top surface of several fingers. The employee was hospitalized and treated for his injuries.
